Normally I don't write product review (unless its for a product that I won off of gather and had to write a review about it) but this frozen pizza was so good that I just couldn't pass up writing this review. While we were eating it, my hubby turned to me and said the same thing I was thinking. "You need to write a review about this." I wish I would have thought to get a picture of it before it was all gone.
Frozen pizza to me just isn't that great normally but when I was at the store the other day this one caught my eye cause its the pizza that we like, Canadian Style Bacon and Pineapple.
Freschetta Naturally Rising -Bake to Rise Crust- is one of the best frozen pizza's I have every tried. It tasted better than Pizza Hut pizza! It tasted homemade.
It comes in a vacuum sealed bag so it not only stays fresh but the toppings stay in place on the pizza as well. The crust rises in the oven and the cheese is all natural (according to the box). I had my hubby put the pizza in the oven when I was on my way home from church last night and by the time I got there 10 minutes later, the whole house smelled wonderful. Normally frozen pizza upsets my stomach but this one didn't.
I paid $5 per pizza at Walmart. We bought 2 pizza and its a good thing we did cause we ate like there was no end to this pizza.
The only real downside to this pizza is that they're not that big but because the crust is so thick it fills you up. (We have a family of 3 and ate one and a half pizzas. Of course we were starving when we finally got to eat at 9pm last night.)
I will definitely be buying this pizza in the future. Its so much better than the other frozen ones and cheaper than ordering pizza. I highly recommend this pizza.
I will never buy from Pizza Hut again!!

Thanks, Ang. I'll give it a try!
You're welcome, Bob. You will have to let me know how you like it.
I'll do that.
They are a good pizza! I have a coupon that I might use tonight $1.25 off of two pizza's
I didn't have any coupons they just happened to catch my eye cause they actually had a kind that I liked.
I'll have to try this one.
You'll like it, JoAnn.
I like their Brick Oven variety a lot.
I've never had that one.
really...sounds good
It is, Bhawana. You should try them and let us know what you think.
I'll have to give this brand a try again...even doctoring it up with extra sauce and double cheese. It will fill me up and still half a $20 delivery bill.
Suprisingly we didn't have to doctor it up. It had enough cheese and sauce on it. Definitely worth trying it again, Rob.
I like Freschetta, but I like DiGiorno even better...My two favorites...Unfortunately, hubby likes Red Baron...Blech!! LOL
I agree, Red Baron is gross! I hate DiGiorno everytime I have tried it, it was gross and they never have canadian style bacon and pineapple.
Yeah, we had this too and we liked it a lot.
good stuff, they are the only ones I buy.
oh, and speakikng of PH. I haven't been to one in over ten years
Pizza Hut has really gone down the drain. I hate that its the closest pizza joint to me cause they're the only place that delivers to our area. Sucks to be them that I found Freschetta cause they just lost my service.
heh, you're lucky. We only have Pizza Hut here, and it's out by the interstate..about a two mile drive. I heard that they don't accept coupons from the sunday Newspaper. Another nail in the coffin
I haven't had that particular kind but we have had Freschetta before and it is good. Thanks for the review.
You're welcome, Shirley.
it sounds delicious
Its really good. I tried to find this same pizza again at Walmart last night and they were sold out. Must be pretty popular. I'm gonna keep watching though cause Hawaiian is my fav!
