While drinking my lunch - an Arbonne smoothie with frozen mangoes, strawberries & banana - I decided to write about our busy weekend.
My husband took half the day off today and when he's done with his shower, I'm running over to Walgreens to get a prescription filled. Then coming back home, wrapping a wedding present, and getting myself and the kids dressed for a wedding we're going to at 4pm. My husband's little godsister is getting married so we're really excited about it. The wedding is going to be at a vineyard so I'm sure it's going to be beautiful.
Tomorrow I'm heading to the Oregon Country Fair with my friend Norah and I'm still deciding if I want to lug my heavy camera with me. I know Norah and I will have fun together... the kids are staying home with my husband and the only thing I hope is that it's not too hot tomorrow! The last thing I want is to get overheated like I did on the 4th of July.
The coolest thing about going to the Fair is that my brother and his family are up here on vacation from San Diego and they'll be there! I haven't seen them since our wedding reception in May 2005 so I'm super excited to see them!!!
On Sunday we'll be driving an hour north to have dinner with my bro & his family, trying to get in as much time as possible with them while they're here.

I can't handle busy anymore.
I have to finish painting some wainscoting and do some vacuuming.

I really want to, Netty but it's SO heavy! I decided I'm going to borrow my 8 year old son's new camera instead, ha. He keeps saying to me 'Mom... please be really, really careful with it!'
Seems we are always busy! Even when we plan for a lazy weekend at home, we never end up at home! My parents are on their way up for the weekend! We are going to the Good Guys Car Show tomorrow.

Sounds pretty busy! We're going to a baseball game for my son's birthday.
Tomorrow I have my brother's fiance's bridal shower to go to. I can't wait to see what she gets. It will be a whole day without little Missy so I'm pretty excited. I know she goes with my MIL often but I never get to do anything with my friends or family while shes gone so its gonna be nice.
Other than that, we have no real big plans.
This is the only weekend this month that we don't have a bunch of plans. We did go to my husband's squadron picnic today, but otherwise, we're going to TRY to stay home and do some stuff around here this weekend I think. I need to do some major cleaning and my husband has some yard work to do.
We have to go to a wedding tomorrow too. I will probably spend Sunday cleaning and beading and Gathering. This is the weekend before the mortgage payment, so we don't have any fun money this time. LOL
Going to La Pine. Haven't done much of anything since the new job so this is going to be good for me. You have a blast at the Fair say hi to your mom for me. =)

Sounds like a busy weekend for you! And, you get to spend it with a Norah.....that's neet to know there are a few "Noras/Norahs" around.....LOL!!!!! The kid has to work at the cemetery for 4 or 5 hrs in the morning....we may go to the farmers market, but I think I'd rather sleep in! I am going to do some big time cleaning in the kitchen.....the guys have GOT to start tearing out the back wall of the kitchen and completely replace it....ugh....what a job! But, that's the beginning of our remodeling! Our state fair isn't until next month! My family reunion (in Oregon) is this weekend....but without me!

It is Sunday and Tracy is here. We always eat. Watch a movie, she didnt bring one , so it is Gidget [the movie of my era] she just left to go get burgers in this backwood area. So good and homemade. You know what happens next. Tracy takes a nap.
