My Baby turns 21 tomorrow... I know I probably should have been thinking about this for a long time and I probably shoud have asked my gather friends earlier.... but what is a good gift to get a boy that has a lot of things for his 21st birthday that he will remember for ever? If you have any ideas I would appreciate them.... also if you remember what you got at 21..I would love to hear that also... We are going down to Cape Cod to take him out to dinner with his roommates.
I personally don't remember what I got at 21. My parents were always very generous. (they have passed away over 20 years ago.) I probably got jewelry or stocks. I just can't recall. I do remember getting a beautiful pair of gold earrings from my grandparents on my mother's side for my graduation. Do you remember a special gift?

My mom was going to take me to the bar for my 21st b-day, but the day before my birthday I found out I was pregnant with Mackenzie! The only thing I got for my birthday was a hoodie from my mom =). What type of music does he like? Maybe get tickets to a concert.
His friends from high school will be going down to the cape this weekend to celebrate it with him. His friends from college will be going down next weekend to celebrate it with him. I guess there will be a lot of celebrating going on...

My parents weren't very generous with gifts.
I do remember my 30th birthday - they'd asked where I wanted to eat. Without taking a pause, I said, "Tavern on the Green". It's beautiful inside.

I love tavern on the green. We had my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary there... there was dancing and all...it was magical.
We took our kids to a bar for their first legal drink, lol.
my girlfriend did that and she said she had to leave when her daughter started to get sloshy... Her oldest son stayed with her daughter and brought her back to college..
I am lucky none got sloshy, lol. One my daughters was on a first date with a guy and now they engaged, live together and have a baby. No, it didn't all happen that night, lol.
maybe one of those visa gift cards?? then he could get what he wants or needs? or taking him shopping. let him pick something out & you get to spend time with him. :)
Michelle, you were lucky to have daughters... (i don't know if you had sons) but it is painful, like having all your teeth pulled out to go shopping with my boys).. that's why I actually think in the end, I was lucky.. as my boys never needed anything growing up(even clothes)... so all the money my husband makes...goes to me. Hee hee (don't tell him I told you that :) )
