I love tattoos. I love the way they look, and I love the way it feels getting them. If I'm having a really bad day, it feels awesome to get a tattoo, its gets you thinking about the annoyance of the tattoo instead of the annoyance in your life at the moment. I have 5 tattoos. Lower back, in between my shoulders, upper right arm, right foot and left foot. I still want to get more done. My tattoo artist ((Mike @ Wicked Tattoos)) owes me a free tattoo cuz Alex ((hubby)) and I helped rip up his carpet in the old shop, and we went and picked up the new carpet for him. He said I could be the first person to get tattooed in the new shop!! I can't wait!!! =)

I've always wanted one. Someday I'll be able to afford one. I understand (I think) enjoying the feeling when getting one. For me, the needle prick is more about the release, but prick feeling comes from me pinching my arm or leg when I need a moment to calm down.
Exactly! It releases tension and you focus on the "annoyance or pain" of getting the tattoo. Its kind of escaping for a moment.
I have one. But, it's small and on my shoulder. My son on the other hand has a 'sleeve'. I don't understand having that much of one on your body.
Yea people with tattoos ALL over look a little creepy!
My concerns of getting hepatitis C over a dirty needle make me never want to get a tattoo. But I also say to each their own, and some of the tattoos I've seen can be considered a work of art.
I understand where you are coming from!! I only go to shops where they clean the tattoo gun in front of me, and they take the needles out of the package right in front of me. You can never be too safe!
Some tattoos are works of art but I have seen some that were tasteless. I have always thought about getting one but the idea of pain makes me hesitate. I have done natural childbirth so I should be able to handle a tattoo. Maybe someday.
It depends on where you get it. My most painfull tattoos were the ones on my feet. Talk about pain!!! But the one on my arm, didn't hurt one bit!
I wouldn't do it,, one I have been raised not to destroy your body, and two I am not into pain and thre it is too permenent to get,, I am not into liking one thing to long,,,
I think that so long as no one can see them they are okay.

I do not have any tattos and probably will never get any.
I do, however, think they look good on many people.
I don't like them - but think everyone is entitled to what they want with their own body!
