Ober Gatlinburg was a short five minute drive from where we stayed during our vacation to Gatlinburg. We wanted to ride the scenic chairlift and see the views from the mountain top so on our first full day we decided to take a ride over.
This is a nice area with a big building which had shops, an ice skating rink, arcade, and scenic lookout spots with those big lookout binocular machines for viewing the mountains. Other activities include a bungee run, alpine slide, water rides, pirate ship ride, fun house, bumper cars, mini golf, kiddie rides and a shooting range.
We only took a ride on the chairlift, took in the views and bought some delicious fudge. We forgot the video but did get a few photos. We got a nice photo of ourselves on the chairlift.

Oh how fun Gloria....and you know, I've never been on a chair lift, since I've never been downhill skiing.
I've never been on one for skiing, just for the mountain views. It's really a nice ride.

My ears popped a lot between Gatlinburg and the place we stayed but I was fine once we got to the top.

What a neat place! I've never been to Ober Gatlinburg although I could kinda see it from the last cabin we stayed in. I didn't realize there was that much to do!
