I miss you!

I miss you Sis. Happy Birthday.

My sister Dorothy passed away in 2002 from Cancer. It was all over her body. She didn't know anything at the last as she was on so many pain meds. I was there holding her when she took her last breath. She is in a better place now and free of pain. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her. I know that she looks down on me from Heaven. Somedays she laughs with me and somedays she cries with me.

My deepest sympathy my friend. I wish I could say that it gets better but as one who lost a dear brother when I was 18, my best friend when I was 26, both my parents I can only say with love the sweet memories of your sister's life will blend with the tears of your loss to make you a better you. Your poem shows that you already know this. She would be very pleased.

What a very beautiful tribute to your sister! It is so devastating to lose loved ones....especially to that horrid cancer.....lost my dear mom to it many years ago and then in June, my SIL, who was only 57. It's such a treacherous disease..........your sister was a beautiful woman, and she is, indeed, in a far better place, free from all her pain.
