that Pam S. is my sister. After reading a few comments on my last "purple smiley Sammi" post, I realized that not everyone knew that. I am the oldest of six children, three girls and three boys. Pam is the second oldest, 11 months younger than I.
She is back home in PA for the summer. She lives in Phoenix, AZ and comes back for a visit once a year. She will be here for 10 weeks and it is so nice to have the whole family together again. I get to see her almost every day as she is staying with my mom and her house is exactly one mile from mine.
I'm curious, do any of you have brothers, sisters, moms, dads, etc. here on Gather?

I don't have any family on Gather
I wish I did..it would be fun.. but it is very time consuming...and I can't see any of my sisters doing this and everything else that they do...

Hi sis, I thought most people knew that we were sisters.
I figured it out from a recent post and the comments--probably about purple smiley Sammi:) My daughter's signed up but are so busy they hardly ever get on.

My brother doesn't own a computer, my mom and sister don't have internet that I know of. My Dad does the e-mail thing but Gather would confound him. If any of my aunts, uncles or cousins are on line, I would never know as they chose to write me off many many years ago.
I view posting here on Gather as a way to enlighten and educate those who only get their info and/or news from old media. Perhaps one or two will catch on to the tyranny that is our govt.
What is coming up next is a 9/11 to our health freedom and we must be on guard. So many evil bills under consideration, I can't keep on top of them.
However, I care about fellow Americans, freedom lovers, and under-educated brain-off people. So I give my time and get called many names - but I don't care as long as someone may benefit. Enjoy the chatter and the posts.

Sandra, I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters.... John S. (arizona) is my older brother, and Morgan W. (winterland) is my younger sister. I'm working on getting the others to join...
It's nice to know that John S. is your brother. He is a friend of mine and I post to his one group. I don't think I am a friend of Morgan's but will check it out.

My sister just joined. My husband and youngest daughter have accounts. My younger son and his wife had accounts, but theirs disappeared. Most the people I got to join aren't active anymore.
Guess it's just "My Thing"....
I have no family on Gather that I am aware of.
I don't have family on Gather, they aren't really big fans of social sites.
No siblings or family members here for me.....at least none that I know of!

I know quite a few of the familial connections of people on Gather. I tend to file away information like that in my mind.
I don't have any family members on Gather.
Just my two sisters now. One comments occasionally, the other rarely.
My best friend was the one who got me on Gather...and then he left. He's come back for a few days once, but decided he didn't want to stay...because he wasn't getting all the attention he so craves...I was! I've had a couple other acquaintainces sign up but never lasted more than a couple days either. I've been on for about 3 years or more now. I've 'met' many 'members of my family' in one way or another during my travels.

My sister, Jen G., invited me to join and her husband, Stuart G. is also a member. But neither is on a lot anymore. I suspected that Pam S. had a connection from a comment she made in your post about the green beans.

I'm an only child now. I have a half sister and a half brother who are on Facebook, but no relatives that I know of on Gather.

My GodSon and Nephew (same person) signed up last year and submitted some poetry and submitted some poetry but as hard as I tried to get people to read his work no one really cared and so he left. He is only a high school young man so you can imagine how bad he felt when no one read his poetry and it is darn good if I do have to say so myself.

My sister-in-law, Becky D. pops on every so often. I see my family a Facebook, which is why I gave in and joined.
I only recently figured out that you were sisters. I don't have family connections on Gather though my husband signed up and commented for about a day. It's not his thing at all.
I wish so much that I did. It tried to coax them but so far, no interest. Ah well, I find such a fine family here anyway.
