This is another of my original patterns I am making free. For those who are making the pattern, if you have any problems, please don't hesitate to contact me for help. :)
Kitkomo -Amigurumi Kitty
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn - about 1 1/2 oz. MC
Small amount CC
Small amount green
Scrap of black & color desired for embroidery of nose & mouth
Crochet hook size (US) F
Polyfill
Yarn needle
Gauge is not important for this project.
Finished size (approximate) - About 6 inches tall from feet to tip of ears.
Notes: Do not join rounds unless indicated. Mark the beginning of each round
with a stitch marker or scrap of yarn.
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Body
(Note: Body is worked from side to side)
Rnd 1: With MC yarn and starting at side of body, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (9 sc)
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (12 sc)
Rnd 4: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (24 sc)
Rnds 6 - 14: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 15: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
Rnd 16: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (12 sc)
***Stuff body at this point and continue to add stuffing as work progresses.***
Rnd 17: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (9sc)
Rnd 18: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (6 sc)
***add more stuffing if necessary. ***
Rnd 19 (closing rnd): (Sl st in next sc, sk next sc) repeat around, join with a sl st in first sl st, fasten off.
Ears (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With CC yarn and starting at tip of ear, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (8 sc)
Rnd 3: (Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (10 sc)
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around, changing to MC yarn in last step of last sc, break off CC yarn.
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (12 sc)
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (14 sc)
Rnd 7: (Sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (16 sc)
Rnd 8: (Sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (18 sc)
Rnd 9: (Sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (20 sc)
Rnd 10: Sc in each sc around, join with a sl st in next sc. Leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Stuff ears moderately, but not too firmly and with remaining length of yarn sew ears to top of head having side edge of one ear matching up with rnd 1 of body
and side edge of the other ear at rnd 19 of body.

Feet (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With CC yarn ch 8, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 chs, hdc in next 3 chs, 5 dc in last ch. Working around into opposite side of starting ch
work hdc in next 3 chs, sc in next 3 chs. (18 sts)
Rnd 2: Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 5 sts, sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in last st. (25 sts)
Rnd 3: Sc in back loop only of each sc around.
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc, sc in next 5 sc, (decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) 5 times, sc in next 5 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc. (18 sc)
Rnd 6: Sc in next 6 sc, (decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) 4 times, sc in next 4 sc. (14 sc)
Rnd 7: Sc in next 6 sc, (decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) twice, sc in next 4 sc. (12 sc)
Rnd 8: Sc in each sc around. Join with a sl st in next sc, leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Stuff feet and sew to bottom of body with toes facing forward.
Hands (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With MC yarn ch 4, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working around into opposite side of starting ch work sc in next 2 chs. (8
sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16 sc)
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (12 sc)
Rnd 5: (Sc in next sc, decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc) repeat around. (8 sc)
Rnds 6 - 7: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 7 join with a sl st in next sc. Leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
Stuff hands and with remaining length of yarn, sew opening closed. Sew hands to sides of body aligned with sides of ears.
Tail
Rnd 1: With CC yarn and starting at tip of tail, ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sc)
Rnd 2: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) repeat around. (8 sc)
Rnds 3 - 4: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around, changing to MC yarn in last step of last sc, break off CC yarn.
Rnds 6 - 19: Sc in each sc around, join with a sl st in next sc. Leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
DO NOT STUFF TAIL. With the remaining length of yarn, sew opening closed. Sew tail to back of body.
Eyes (Make 2)
Rnd 1: With green yarn ch 3, work sc & 2 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 hdc & 2 sc in last ch, working around into opposite side of starting ch, work a sc in next ch, join with a sl st in first sc. Leaving a length of yarn for sewing, fasten off.
With a length of black yarn embroider pupil in center of eye to align with the starting chain.
With the remaining length of green yarn, sew eyes to body.
With a scrap of desired color yarn, embroider nose & mouth below eyes.
Weave in any remaining loose ends.
Done!!
