At the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Emma Watson experienced a wardrobe malfunction.
Here's a photo of Emma as she arrived in to the premiere in the rain:

And here's the scandelous photo that pre-pubescent boys are drooling over:

Poor Emma! That's a little awkward to have your panties exposed with flashing cameras everywhere.
But in all honesty, I don't think she has anything to worry about. It's a PG photo and the girl is looking cute. At least she took a precaution and wore underwear unlike some celebrities who know they'll be photographed (Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, etc.) Plus, the photo may be to Emma Watson's advantage; it only creates more buzz for the movie! (Not that anything with "Harry Potter" in the title wouldn't do well on its own as it is.)

Embarrassing, but harmless. She's a sweetie!
Emma Watson throughout the Harry Potter films has been as classy off camera as on camera. As Professor Lupin commented in film #3, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Hermione Granger is "truly the greatest witch of her age". And her counterpart, Emma Watson, is a bright young woman who was at first concerned that the movie series might interfere with her education, but who now according to wikipedia: "In an interview with Jonathan Ross in July 2009, she confirmed that she was planning to study in the United States, saying that - having missed so much school as a child for filming - the "broad curriculum" of American higher education appealed to her more than British universities, "where you have to just choose one thing to study for three years". [
Good for you Emma, keep on getting those straight "A" grades, and you are wise to value the Liberal Arts style of education.
As a father of two special daughters, there is much I see in Emma Watson that reminds me of my own.
Chris W - you dn't have to choose to study one thing for three years at all British unis... Sounds to me like Ms Watson wasn't given entirely correct careers advice by her sixth form teachers!
Dang, she's growing up. The next thing you know, she'll be in her first rehab session....
Kidding. That is embarrassing.
That dress was made to open in front for the paparrazzi!*0;-)
uh oh. Ishbel, I meant to cast no aspersions on british university education. It is also true that many american university students are eager to spend one of their college years at oxford or cambridge.
Chris - I didn't think you were - I merely wanted to point out that Ms Watson does not seem to understand her own education system... no disrespect to her wish to study overseas!
I am a lecturer at a university in the UK - where most courses are 4 years honours degrees.
Us Dirty old guys need girls like her!
