Life is good. I had a gift certificate from Gather.com for Amazon and ordered two books. Waiting for their arrival. My "wish list" is two pages long. I already have a stack to read, but I'm making up for all those readless years.
Here are two books I recently finished. Neither are children's books, but I enjoy getting into the adult world now and then.
AFTERTHOUGHTS by Lynn Tincher, the first book in the Mind Bending Series. Good mystery with a villanous villain and a twist at the end, which I always enjoy.
NO TEACHERS LEFT BEHIND, HBF Teacher (yes, that's who the listed author is.) It stands for Hopeful but Frustrated Teacher. I'll be posting a review for this book on my blogspot for the author's virtual book tour in August. It reminds me of UP THE DOWN STAIRCASE. I'm thankful the schools where I taught are not like the one in this book.
