Chivalry isn't dead.
You're both generous and covetous.
Romance exudes from your core.
Roses delighted at my door.
We twirl and we dip.
Love is but a trip.
And I fell into your web.
The cobwebs dissolve
from my mind.
I fondly remember
making love.
Desire sated,
discovery begins.

Thank you, my beautiful friend. You know I hope you find yours.
"Love is but a trip." That line bothers me because I'm not sure what it means in the context of the poem. Otherwise very nice.
I do not do drugs, but love (to me) is similar to what it might feel like to be on an acid or mushroom sort of trip. It's also just a wild ride. Thanks, John! I shall continue to edit.
In other words, I've heard rumors.
You had a rhyme scheme going and then it vanished.......on purpose?
Seems like you are riding the Love Train again! (smile)
Yes, it was intentional and I'm just playing around. My goal is to write James one per day while I'm gone. Thanks, JM!
