In the Etowah Valley of Georgia, just forty minutes north of Atlanta, I found a pristine lake, a refreshing river, a towering dam and truly an abundance of green. Today, I'm leaving but I'll probably be back. The canine and I took a drive and a swim yesterday to say goodbye. It was a very pleasant few weeks with the highlights being my day with Phaedra and a day at Zoo Atlanta.
Photos are from yesterday, please enjoy - and to offer a little of the valley's serenity, I will now shut up and just let your eyes wander. I'll be traveling today but I'll show up sometimes soon; somewheres......
God Bless!

until on our next hike; happy trails to you ................................

Beautiful photo essay. I especially like the canine.
Great photo essay....and wow, you did see quite a bit of this area. Sorry we haven't been home while you were in Georgia. I'm glad you got to meet Phaedra though.
There's always next time and I would so love to meet the Famous Princess Angela!
Angela will be flying home from Michigan tomorrow. I can't wait to see the photos she took at Survivor Camp...
I know you're going to share some, right?
And I'll holler when I get in the neighborhood again.

Hi Ya Robert. As usual ... great photos. Beautiful place. I especially enjoyed the very last picture ;> I am so glad for that bit of land over the wall I just knew had to be there. :)
Otherwise, that first step for the dog would have been a doozie and someone would be calling PETA on me.
