These fireworks were taken at the end of a Long Island Ducks game in Central Islip, Long Island, New York, USA. My camera is a Kodak Easy Share DX6490 and I had set the settings to the lowest f stop (3.2) and an exposure of 1/3 of a second. Given this the results aren't all that bad but a more professional camera mounted on a monopod or tripod might have given better results. Anyway, here they are!

A great set of shots...thanks for sharing them with us. :)
loved the photos! happy 4th!
Great show they had there. Funny thing, when I heard they had a game that night I was wondering if you were going to be there.
The fireworks sort of made up for the fact that the Ducks lost that game big time. It was also a strangely civil game. For many years the Ducks and Bluefish were like the Yankees and the Red Sox, with the Long Island Sound keeping them from attacking each other on a daily basis. You could almost count on a fight breaking out in the old days when they played. Fortunately, even though the Ducks pitcher did sort of brush the uniforms of a couple of Bluefish players, the game was exceptionally civil.
