I grew up cutting my own hair as a teenager and even now as an adult. I cut my son's head yesterday, as his hair grows so quickly much like my own and was in need of some shaping up and trimming. Although I'm not the professional barber and I wouldn't dare send him to a professional barber at this stage in his life. Only because I remember going to the barber at a young age. The barbers used to talk about any and everything under the sun and the barbershops always smelled of "feet." LoL! Honest, feet and sweat. So I wasn't a big fan of barbershops so being of an entrepreneurial spirit I thought that being a barber would be cool. I could cut all of my friends hair, etc.. Build a cool reputation for being a barber and be well established.
That idea went south as soon as I read all of the details regarding the legal ramifications if I were to be sued for cutting someone while cutting their hair. Or especially if they were to fall and hurt themselves at my place of business. It would be a disaster so I thought at least. Do you see what robbed me of that idea? It was simply put a bunch of FEAR of failing. Which is why now, I won't allow things to stop me from getting the things that I want out of life. I simple keep on going and moving toward that common goal and or prize that I have in my eyesight!
What about you?
Here is my son's before shot:
Here is his after shot:
How do you think I did? (Believe me your honesty won't hurt my feelings ~ LoL)
