It may be 4th of July today, but there are other things to celebrate here on Gather. All the cool cats at Friends of Merlin http://friendsofmerlin.gather.com are mewing with delight. The 100th member to join the group is Nancy http://liltig.gather.com who happens to have four of the most gorgeous kitties. The prize for being the 100th member is the honor of their cat becoming Cat of the Week not only here, but enjoy a much larger cyber audience at Cat Saturday http://blog.laylamorganwilde.com a popular blog by Friends of Merlin group owner Merlin the Siamese cat. Well, it's actually actually me, Layla Morgan Wilde, but don't tell him. Every week, I select one special cat and design a poster for their honor. Cats throughout history have acted as muses to inspire writers and artists. This week the muse struck hard and I created something extra special for all cat lovers. One problem remained; with Nancy having four gorgeous cats to choose from, which cat reigned supreme? I chose her tortoiseshell kitty, Pixie. Did I make a good choice?
