Happy 4th!

Hubbys allergies are KILLING him currently, so we probably wont do anything for the 4th.  MIL MAY cook out and we MAY get in the pool, but we have to see how it goes.

Awww.....I hope he gets to feeling better.  Those allergies can really make you feel rough.  Enjoy the cookout and the swim if you decide to do it.  Happy Independence Day to you.

It is going to be a quite one for me. Dave is going camping and I will stay home and go to church and out to the cemetary. Thanks for posting this to Photopoints Happy 4th!

We are on vacation in Maine, on the Blue Hill Peninsula.  Flye Point is in the village of Brooklin (population 2000)....we love their 4th of July parades....small...everybody brings a portable radio and turns on the local station for some band marches as the girl scouts, boy scouts and Garden Club march down Main Street.  We might go over to Bar Harbour for the fireworks...but that's iffy...all depends on how we feel come the night of the 4th.

Bob ~ I know you all are having a great time :)  I bet the small parade is loads of fun.  I like those better than the big ones anyway.  Regardless of what you do the night of the 4th, I hope you enjoy the holiday.

We will watch the parade come through town and then go see the fireworks.  I'm hoping to get some decent fireworks photos.

I can't wait to see the great pics I know you will get on your kayaking adventure this weekend!!  We're headed to Cincinnati to my cousins house.  She has a big inground pool and hot tub so it's like going  to a resort for the holiday!  The whole family goes down and we have a long weekend of sun & fun!!  Have a safe & happy 4th!!

Elsie ~ if the time permits, Gathering is a good way to spend the holiday weekend :)  I understand about Grandma's house always being open.  I remember visiting mine on the spur of the moment....no forewarning, just showing up sometimes.

My daughter and the twins are spending time with friends (or were the last I heard) so they aren't on the road all weekend.  I would rather them do that then chance being in the traffic and stuff anyway.
