What do you have an "Aldi's" instead? I miss shopping there.
We have an Aldi's about an hour from here. I went there recently, but I honestly do better with sales & coupons.
Do you even do better with the can veggies and fruits? Those I get alot from places like these. Sales and coupons, I can't even beat those prices.
Well I have found that often the fresh stuff is much cheaper, especially when the summer Farmer's Market is on.
And I had a ton of free Green Giant steam vegetables for months. I had $1 coupons and they were on sale at Walmart. So yes I have lucked out in some ways.
We rarely eat canned anything because of all the sodiums & sugars in them.
We have a Fareway here, which is pretty comparable. Do you have Fareways where you are?

I prefer fresh veggies when I can get them. But at times the prices are to high....that happens alot in Florida. I love the farmer markets when I can get to them.

I like getting my can veggies and fruits there. It beats paying 75 cents a can for genric brands in the store or a buck ormore for name brand in stores.
ya I don't buy canned veggies much anymore but I'm sure I can find a few things I can use......I do get canned fruit so maybe that's what I will do!
With kids and their friends over. Can veggies are still a must in my houehold. My middle son loves peas... I can never keep those in the house heeats them so fast.
