And you didn't count the election of Ronald Reagan as part of that Western decay? Thats when this country started a huge down fall.
Damn Spencer, I was gonna say he couldn't be any worse a senator than Reagan was a president but you beat me to it.
I don't see Franken keeping us safe during this age of terrorist threat when Reagan kept us safe during the Cold War....that said, yes, I agree that celebrities are surprising choices for political seats.
Well, at least he is not one of the "good ole boys" ...
