Yet you would love to go out and do something with your loved one.
Better yet go away for the weekend with your loved one.
Anyone have some ideas? Free things to do?
Being poor sucks, lol.
Thanks for your help!

Go camping. Nothing like bugs and strange night sounds while sleeping in the outdoors to bring a couple closer together.
My guy would rather play a videogame together than go out, which suits me fine because so would I. If we wanted to go out, though, there are free concerts in the park all summer, natural beauty we could see for just the price of gas to go visit, free fireworks shows coming up shortly, or various free-entry festivals coming up throughout the summer.
go camping, find a place along a lake with a boardwalk and bring fishin' poles, go hiking in the woods (bring bug spray!), go for a walk in the mall (if it's hot they are air conditioned!), go for bike rides together, go to the library and find out all the "tourist attractions" in your area and go see them together, take turns blindfolding each other and taking each other somewhere.... rule: the blindfold doesn't come off until the person guesses where they are!, a picnic on the beach, if someone came from out of town where would you take them??? bring your lover there and pretend you've just met!, sorry that's all I can think of right now! I'm never bored in summer, there's always something to do!
camping, or maybe a parade and a nieghborhood fireworks display, do you live near a river, we do my son went to the river before boot camp and played no pool cost there you know
I know how you feel...
Find a river, borrow some tubes, and go float down it ;)
Go visit relatives at the beach!
We take a picnic to the park and play a round of frisbee golf.
We also like to go to the art museums that are free.
There is usually free entertainment at local carnivals, fairs, etc.
We love going to karaoke too.
I would love to say camping also, but it does cost money. Have to pay for the site can be costly mostly during the holiday weekends.
I would recommend checking out dvds at the library, grab some popcorn and cheap vino for a fun evening alone. Unplug the phone, turn off the lights, throw some pjs on and just lay on the couch together. For during the day, throw yourself a little picnic at a local park. Most have grills for use, bring some hotdogs and pt. sld and just enjoy the quiet of being together. Bring some cards or cribbage board to play, bring a radio for music...take a walk together, eat and enjoy each other. No cellphones on again.
Make it your time.
Being "poor" is a state of mind Ginny. There is plenty of JOYFUL things to do money or not...
1) Go to the park and ENJOY NATURE.
2) Read a good book and have a discussion with friends and family about it ~ maybe one on WEALTH.
3) Relax and Meditate and strengthen your mind, body and soul.
4) DREAM of what you'd like your life to be like, then take the first step towards making it MANIFEST.
GOOD ARTICLE.
There is much to do in San Antonio that is free.. There is one celebration, one exhibit, one event after another. Move to San Antonio, the seventh largest city in the U.S. and the best. My city is fast becoming a major destination for a three-day weekend.
I don't have a significant other :-). For my kids, finding free stuff to do can be easy, but sometimes they want to spend money on everything they see. Parks are always good.
I would LOVE to visit San Antonio again. My brother used to live near there, so I've been there once.
I’m doing a mass hello to everyone on my friends list.
“Hello”, my name is Lee P. You are my friend and I’m just stopping by to say hello. I hope that today will be your best day yet and that all your tomorrows will be filled with joy and happiness.
