After,
I’ll see you after,
After the fall
And always
All ways
Falling
Evermore.
After,
We pleaded after,
After it all
And always
All ways
Calling
No, don’t fall.
After,
They free you after,
After the call
Though always
All ways
Stalling
You before.
After,
I’ll seek you after,
After the fall
Though always
All ways
Falling
After all.

Wow! Wonderful!
What a lovely tribute from the heart! Well done!!
Very beautiful, a lovely tribute to Heidi, her poems were so sad, but all well written, so sad , her passing.
The few pieces I've read for Heidi makes me realize that those who knew her really cared about her. I am so sorry this happened. I hope your hearts mend soon. This was a very touching poem.
Sad to know that all of life's unfulfilled promises still lie over the horizon. Quite moving verse.
After all, you touched my heart with your caring poem.
Brilliant and heart-rendering... still can't believe she's no more among us.
Hugs and blessings - S.
A touching tribute...
A very lovely tribute, and my warmest sympathies to you all of her friends.
beautiful yet sorrowful..i am reminded of a small bunch of dark purple violets growing from the center of a very old cemetery plot ..that such a small beautiful life could find enough sustenance to flourish from cracks and crags of mortar and spent soil;finally succumbing to the cold in the fall.
sad and powerful images,Sheila!

Sheila ~ Heidi? Heidi who?
I like the poetics ~ tell me who Heidi is . . . Hope you're not talking about Gather Heidi.
I didn't know Heidi either but I am so sorry for the loss of your Gather friend. Beautiful and sad tribute.
I reread this and I'm glad because I noticed something quite unusual. The pacing of your cadence gives the feeling of frantic. This is wonderful in style and form.
This has a wonderful sense of downward movement through time and space.
It is sad and heart warming at once.
