Does anybody else think it is strange and a little inappropriate for Joe Jackson to promote himself and his so-called record company during the press conferences and public appearances intended to address the death of Michael? It seems to me that even in death this man that has been painted by Michael and his brothers to be an abusive and terrible father, has found a way to benefit and profit from the exploitation of his talented and gifted son.

All I will say about this issue is I hope he gets nothing in the will and silently just goes away.
I've wondered why all of a sudden he was right there - from what I remember hearing about the man - he was quite abusive and not at all kind to Michael so I can't imagine why he has jumped right out there in the spotlight except to try to gain something for himself. Too sad.
This man abused and exploited his children and it seems he still is.

Spare me Juan. His talented and gifted son was a freak and a child molester. Whatever Papa Jackson does to exploit him in his death is nothing compared to the horrific acts that MJ perpatrated on children while he was alive.
I believe that this 'man' was the biggest reason MJ had so many problems dealing with life. He lived off the children and the money they made, not allowing them to be children or choose a future. If MJ was a child molester...if...since he was acquitted, I must say if, the 'papa' had a large hand in making him so.
And yes, it was inapproiate for him to promote his record company. He looks like the thug he is, so nothing else could be expected of him. Even in death, using his son to make a dollar. It's disgusting.
Whether he was guilty or not that is not for me to say, but I do agree with you Shirley that his father was a huge factor behind his problems.
