Hey friends -
I just wanted to let my gather cohorts know that I'm now putting my online energies into a new blog about arts and culture in Minnesota, called "State of the Arts." My goal is to create a place where people can find out what's happening on the weekend, learn the latest arts news, and simply celebrate how wonderfully creative Minnesotans are. I hope you'll check it out, post your comments, and share it with your friends.
One of the projects I'm working on for the blog is called "We Art Minnesota." I'm asking people to submit their favorite work of art that belongs to Minnesota (i.e. a piece of public art, a really cool building, or a work of art that lives in a Minnesota museum). You're encouraged to submit a photograph of yourself with the art, or even make a short video (about a minute long) in which you talk about why it's your favorite.
