Time for everyone to step in to the laboratory and start dabbling in the long-lost art of monster creation! The Karma Roleplaying System gives you complete control over every aspect of your game, including the monsters you throw at your hapless adventurers. Why not share with your fellow storytellers your own evil creations for a chance to win a cool prize?
To enter:
Design an original monster for the Karma Roleplaying System. The monster can either be a completely unique creature of your own making, a real-world animal, or a creature of legend. Entry must be formatted as per the Karmic Monsters Sourcebook.

Tell everyone you know to check out your monster and rate it!
You can include an art image with your submission to serve as an illustration, so long as you either own the copyright to the image, the image is in the public domain, or you have a legal right to use the image (such as some images available under the Creative Commons license). Please make sure to cite the source of images you do not personally hold the copyright to but are allowed to use.
Entries will be judged in terms of overall adherence to the game mechanics, functionality, originality, and overall community rating. The best entry will get a $10 gift certificate to RPGNOW.com. And everyone that enters legitimate monster will get a free PDF copy of Karmic Pirates when it is released later this summer!
Now, the disclaimers
Entries that infringe on the trademark, intellectual property, or copyright of any third party will be disqualified (no Mind Flayers, Taurens, Saiyans, etc.) This extends to entries that include photos or illustrations that are in violation of copyright law.
Entries that are inherently racist, sexist, or otherwise serve no purpose other than to deliberately offend someone will be disqualified. Remember, the goal is to create a monster that folks would want to use in a game, not to start a flame war.
In order to claim your free PDF, or if you win the gift certificate, you will need to provide us with a valid e-mail address. Use of the gift certificate requires having an account with RPGNOW.com. We cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, deleted, or unclaimed prizes if you provide us with an erroneous e-mail address.
Please note that the consumer end-user license, found at the back of all Karma products, applies to any monster posted for this contest. The license does NOT apply to any associated art you include with your submission.

I'm curious: the one-eyed, one-horned flying purple people eater----is it purple, or does it eat purple people? Hmmmmm....
