As most of you know I live in a so called quiet town.To hear the town police talk we are a friendly and peaceful town.Nothing never bad happens here,it is a peaceful quiet town.
Now to why I'm writing about my quiet peaceful town where nothing bad ever happens.The BOMB SQUAD has had to come here and take care of 2 suspicious devices in 2 days.
No I did not write about this yesterday as I did not think it was a subject to talk about but now I'm just mad.What is the person thinking of?
I don't think the big city of Charlotte,NC has had this happen to them.What in the world is wrong with people that do things like this.

Oh my gosh! Thank God they found it and were able to take care of the situation. I'm so glad no one was hurt or killed. That gave me goosebumps reading that. Can I ask the population there? All these bombs they are finding is getting scary. Well it is scary.
we have been through shelby and camped near there often.....always thought it was a safe little town too.......my how times and people have changed...and not for the better..... pif

two in one day... that's not good....Usually there is some disgruntled former employee of some nearby store..And with the internet, most anyone can build one...Just glad that it didn't go off, and leave many hurt or killed...
Even in small towns, things can happen. Although areas such as yours and mine for that matter (pop a little over 200) we are still prone to crime. Where there are people the possibility will exsist. I am glad, no one was harmed.

I hate the stuff going on in the world today. A very small town near here is dealing with a child abduction.
I'm glad those were taken care of! I've been reading in the local small-town newspaper that sometimes the criminal elements leave the big cities because law enforcement cracks down on them, so they come to the small towns where they think they won't be found out.
Even my little area of the world, where we never had to lock our doors had a man hunt for three days, cops and constables on horses and search dogs. All in my woods.
