Disciple of the Bride, Heidi, took her life Saturday night....

I still don't know who this is :-/

her tag name was 'Diciple of the Bride, with one hand on Hanzo steel just in case', she wrote lucious poetry and seemed quite up recently about it being summer...

why would anyone flag a loving tribute for Heidi ?? They must be cold and heartless!!

I don't believe someone would do this, and for harrassment?! Wel, I will counter it and more than likely this person will be removed from Gather.

Georgiana S. Just to let you know this was the last straw for me! I can no longer stand apart from reporting the abuse that the Gather Police d are consistently doing. These flagrant flaggers must cease and desisit

 Since gathers TOS also states

"Only report content that violates the Terms of Service or is intended for mature audiences, but lacks a mature audience setting. I will not report content to complain about another member, or based on someone or something I do not agree with. I will not republish content that has been reported and is under editorial review."

This article does not in any way violate the TOS and the member who is doing this must be dealt with so I reported my feeling aboutthis particular post in hopes that the member who is abusing the system by flagging articles will be addressed.

Her friend, Lorrie, had posted an article on Heidi's page and said she she had died painlessly, unlike her life.

Lorrie since removed her own article, because it was too painful to come back.

Heidi's two pages of poems are still up, but Gather will close the account today or tomorrow, at the latest.

I think it was flagged for copyright, but that is a false reason. And MaryAnne asked people NOT to flag for copyright reasons.

But how can that be? You Tube videos are not copyrighted! The embed code was allowed! Many YouTube posts are up, and not flagged, oh, this is personal!

Flagging goes beyond inappropriate here. This is beautiful and very, very appropriate. I agree, we do need to start reporting the flaggers.

I did not know Heidi, but it is very clear many of you loved her deeply, and I am so sorry that your friend needed to do this.  I wish you all peace and acceptance.  And I wish for Heidi a beautiful heavenly world now.

Whoever flagged this is a cruel excuse for a human being.  Shame on you for doing this.

This is the second Gatherer that I knew that has committed suicide.

Sometimes this world is too cruel for fragile flowers.

and sometimes Sharon, they are hurt by the spiteful trolls here on the Internet that berate and taunt the fragile.

If someone is equipped to deal properly with potential 'at risk' people perhaps it would be a good idea to start a group, sort of a suicide prevention...?
