The description Chandler gave of Michael genitals did NOT match the photographs that were taken. Chandler said Michael was circumcised - which was an INACCURATE claim and major inconsistency if you ask me.

Basically, no evidence what so ever.

 

This I didn't know! Why did he settle?

Regarding the genitals comment, all one has to do is look on the internet and you can see what they look like and Jordan's father could show him that picture also.  The fact is when someone is very rich, they become a target for low lifes like Jordan and his father. One must remember, Jordan was a minor so in reality he did not fuly realize what he was doing or saying But his father knew exactly what he was doing and he should be jailed for perjury. To lie under oath is a very serious crime and there should never be any statute of limitations!  In that way, one is accountable at all times for their words, actions and behavior.

I'm not sure why he settled - I personally believe it was a mistake, as I think he really would have won it in court and it would've put an end to all the speculation and doubts.

Michael said at the time that he just wanted the case resolved quickly so that he could "get on with his life".

And as much as he made the settlement for himself (to put an end to the whole saga), Michael may also have done it for Jordan too. Michael was good friends with Jordan - and even after the allegations were made still didn't blame him....

Perhaps he wanted to make it as easy as possible on his friend Jordan and aviod him having to go on for years in the limelight and through constant pressure, stress and anguish.

That's terrible. So how do you know he's telling the truth now either?

I never thought it was anything more than a quest for cash!  MJ was weird, but I don't think he was stupid.  What this kid claimed was really, really stupid.  If nothing else, Jackson's handlers would have found a way to cover it up effectively had it been true!

The kid comes out and says that Jackson molested him and everyone says he is lying.  The kid comes out and says he lied and everyone believes him.

The first kid has never made a statement to this effect but Jackson since he was so innocent paid them both off...hmm...something not right about that.

No Lori, the story hasn't been substantiated and doesn't appear to be true, to me, and I've searched the internet thoroughly. I am an advocate for the truth, ALWAYS.

However, in that thorough search I discovered additional information which I was unaware of previously.

Michael Jackson was represented by his insurance company in this accusation of a crime. His insurance company made the decision to negotiate the 22 million dollar payment while Jackson begged them not to do so. The insurance company made the payment, not Michael Jackson.

I believe this was a fraud for profit. Although Michael Jackson may have identified with children it's not likely he molested them. There were a significant number of children that testified on Jackson's behalf. 4 of Jackson's homes were searched thoroughly and both images, videos and computers were taken. NOTHING was ever found to indicate a crime had been committed.

John I might be more skeptical except for one thing.  This happened more than once.

Lets take YOU hypothetically.

You are rich, you are famous, you have good insurance.

You love kids or claim to.  So much that you have sleep overs in a huge bed and the 10 year old kids sleep with you.

So you are going along lovin kids and having these sleep overs and bam...you are accused of child molestation.

Your insurance company pays off the claimant.  What do you do?

For most people that would be a HUGE wake up call.

Not MJ.

He continues doing it.

And if you look at rape cases or most child molestation cases there is very little if any evidence.

Not only did MJ get away with this 2X that we know of but he also convinced some that these poor kids were just gold diggers and he was the victim.

 

Lori F I don't expect you know a lot about the case. I do. I read the transcription of the 2004 trial and watched the reenactments that were broadcast by E!. There must be available on Internet even now. Read them and then you will see the two sides of the story and try to open your mind before being judgemental. That's what trials are about (you would stink as a juror). And I'm not a parent but I'm an elementary school teacher and I knew a real victim of child molestation. The victim of course didn't behave as this goldiggers. He and his family would've never ever dreamed about accepting ANY money. They wanted the monster who did this behid the bars in jail and they got exactly that. Jordan on the other hand was the son of a hollywood scriptwriter and accepted money.

 

You might have not thought about this but HYPOTHETICALLY if you are a huge star who make your living touring around the world making concerts you would rather pay 20 millions than going to trial. The trial would have been way too more harmful to Michael's career and reputation than paying 20 millions to have these greedy family.

 

Read about the 2004 trial. You might learn that the second acusser testimony has a lot of inconsistences, that the mother used the money that michael gave them for the treatment of the accuser for fancy things, that one of the charges was about the family being held in Neverland against their will, but that was hard to believe when it was proved that the mother received very expensive beauty treatments paid win MJ's money and encouraged her children to call him daddy. You might learn that there were eyewitness that the "victim" misbehaved in a flight with Michael (the mother was there too) and acted too cocky about the gifts Michael gave them. You might have learn that they claimed that Maculay culkin was molested and Culkin, who was reluctant to testify ended up appearing on court to tell that all was a lie that was hurting him.

 

Open your mind a little bit.

Mayra is right, I have done extensive research over several years myself &, at first, strongly considered the fact that--against my fervent wishful thinking & after watching Michael Jackson grow up for over 40 years myself, etc., etc.,--MJ may possibly have been guilty. I mean once is easier to believe. But TWICE? I was determined to find evidence that he was guilty once & for all & put this out of my mind. But after doing ALOT of reading, including several books on the subject & the viewing of actual court transcripts & photos, & taking all known facts in BOTH cases into account, i had to come to the conclusion that Michael IS innocent of all charges. However, this stuff started about Jordan Chandler admitting he lied...? Seems this is exactly the kind of thing that leads to such drivel as Michael Jackson being accused of such things as trumped up charges of molestation in the first place, BTW, for which there was absolutely NO evfidence. Yet, unsubstantiated claims in Michael's favor--by overzealous fans, er whatever--actually DO make the truth look suspicious, the opposite of the apparent hoped for effect.

Lori, while this appears to be false the information I found while searching, which is verifiable, is quite telling. Michael Jackson was more than likely a victim of his immaturity, his naivete, his fame and fortune and his vulnerability as well as people whose motivation was purely financial. He is also, no doubt, the victim of the media as we all discuss whether he was or was not a child molester and it simply doesn't make sense, based on the balance of his life that we're privy to, which isn't a lot, that he was.

What I did hear was a father that bits and pieces of a phone conversation were played...most likely with the damning stuff being left out.

BTW At the moment I'm teaching English in a Latinoamerican country where poor families live all together in very small houses. 12 or more members of a family sharing 2 rooms apartments. Relatives share beds with granchildren, nieces and nephews all the time.

Im a mother of 2 boys and if one of my kids got molested, i wouldnt be fighting and wanting money, id want justice for my kids and our family. And put the monster behind bars. Michael Jackson was never found guilty, which if he apparently "molested" more then once he would have been put behind bars like alot of other pedophiles, but he isnt.
