Ah ~ Thank you much Jennifer.  You'll know I'll continue to post to the Poet's Circle.  Now that I'm back to writing poetic works ~ L O L.

Pondering that... Rene, just to know you is to know the very gentle support that you give to others and the great care that you extend to to those who are in your groups.  It is something that always warms my heart.  When I read your comments, I am lifted and so if I search you, I find great beauty and love.

Karen ~ I thank you very much.  Your caring and your COMPASSION SHINE THROUGH in everything you do.  You too are such a supportive person ~ probably much more than you give yourself credit for.

Sometimes, I have to remind myself not to be so hard on people that I wish would just straighten up.  You know how you can SEE the POTENTIAL in someone, and they just refuse to get with the program?  There are so many out there like that.  Then you have those who are giving their ALL, and they get mowed down by lesser~minded, lesser~spirited petty folks that know not what they do.

So, I've come to understand that when you meet someone with a spirit that is genuine, and you can "feel" it, "relate" to it, and "embrace" it, you should be ever so grateful.  That such person is YOU Karen.

Hi Haim ~ I am always, for some reason, so ... can't find the words ...

Okay, let's say this ~ I'm always asked to WRITE.  I LOVE to WRITE.  I find WRITING to be very realaxing and comforting. I also think that God has "gifted" me with the ability to WRITE ~ and in many cases, I WRITE WELL.  {I'm not bragging on myself either}.  I just find that sometimes I pick up some of my writings and am AMAZED at the words.  I KNOW that they did not come from little ol me.  And, I also know that every time someone asks me a question like the one you just asked (which happens all the time), . . it is my cue to PAY ATTENTION.

One thing I think that EVERYONE should bear in mind ~ whenever you keep hearing the same things over and over, you need to PAY ATTENTION.  When you are asked about something ~ to do something ~ over, and over . . . it is no doubt your "gift" to the world, and what you have been "called" to do.

The two things I am always asked to do is WRITE and SPEAK in various forms.

This one is in a COLLECTION that I've been asked to write so much that I don't know if I'll ever finish.  This one, and many others, will be released in a BOOK soon!

Nice... an eloquent way of saying, "If you spot it, you've got it."  I like to remind myself of this when I find myself in a judgemental frame of mind.  More often than not, I can find elements of the same thing I'm judging in myself.  And ironically, the things that bring out the strongest judgements in me are the ones that are most likely to be hidden away in my own character... the parts that I wish I could eradicate.

If that isn't the TRUTH!  And you are so right about giving ourselves gentle reminders when we find ourselves in a "judgemental frame of mind."

... it is true ... we can see ourselves in others eyes.

"ditto . . . ditto" c.l. mareydt to what you have said.  That is the reason why ALL who come before us ~ come before us . . . So that WE may "check" ouselves.  The people before us serve as a mirror of sorts.  And, as we stand before the mirrors of others, we do adjustments ~ fixes so to speak.  And, if we are WISE, we UNDERSTAND all the imperfections and the VALUE that they have.  The judgements that we make are usually only for ourselves, and only about ourselves ~ even when we don't think so.

My list of "friends" is small here on Gather compared to the REAL REALM of things so to speak.  I understand what you mean.  My "friends" hear from me all the time ~ maybe too much if they'd tell it ~ ahahah!  But then, I'm a "people" person.

Listening to what you've said, I do hope to have you stop by and find the time to keep up with your smaller list of "friends".  I'll make a firm note of your advice, and as I continue to "BE", I hope I'll be a part of your "friends" list so that you may "SEE" the "change" . . . L O L... thank you for your kind words.

I love that you beg this person to search you to find themselves for understanding between you both, yet the whip at the end tells me you expect you to be you, and them to be them, and nothing will ever change... I loved it because that's how I would see the same situation.  I would hope dearly for some peace on the matter, but I woudn't hold my breath. :)

You are so good of pointing out the point of it all. How true it is that often others look at us to find our faults so that they feel better about themselves. It reminds me to be careful not to loose myself to the likes of those that would chip me away till theres nothing left. Thank you Rene!

Many times those who "chip away at others" are jealous, envious, or they just have hateful hearts. There are so many who despise those that DO GOOD....those that LIVE WELL....those that have many FRIENDS....those that are LOVED by others.

FAULT FINDERS primarily feast upon pointing out the wrongs, without any discourse concerning RESOLUTION. They see no resolutions, because they want no corrections. ABUSE has many forms that it takes. Recognizing the root of why people become abusive to other people usually points to un~healed hurts. They may not even recognize WHY they are so HATEFUL, or BITTER, or RESENTFUL -- they just know that they are, and they lash out at anyone who just happens to cross their path when they are having these tormenting thoughts.

WISDOM comes from discerning the thoughts and intents of the hearts of those with whom you have contact. And, WE KNOW that the ULTIMATE SOURCE of ALL WISDOM is God, Who gives freely to ALL who ASK of HIM.

A PROTECTIVE COVERING means that some people will be moved out of your life that seek to harm you or hurt you in any way (without any effort on your part). God is able to do just that, and DOES.

You're right in what you've said Cassandra ~ two-fold ~ If you search "me", you shall find "you" -- It is the NATURE of being made of the same materials (however we may try to make them different from one another) -- it is the UNITY factor that enable us to be one and the same, AND YET, as you've expressed so well, BE INDIVIDUALISTIC -- because it is what makes the world go round ~ all the various ideas, minds of various hues. And, YES a little respect always helps in the Way of PEACE. ~ l o l ~ I love your input ...

Thank you. This poetic piece is for EVERYONE. Because, at some time or another, each and everyone of us gets scrutinized, judged, and misjudged by family, friends, associates, and even complete strangers.

WE are ALL mirrors for one another's VIEWING PLEASURE. Whenever something is reflected in someone else that a person does not like, if it cannot be attributed to "jealousy" or "envy" or "hate", it is PROJECTION.

The FAULT FINDERS ~ CRITICAL MINDERS ~ unhappy souls and BUSY BODIES of the world will forever find something to do... even if it involves tearing down me or you.
