Here is an interesting video that actually makes a great point. If you re-read your Bible carefully, you'll note that the historic King David was a much bigger rake than Governor Sanford ever dreamt of being. David had his love interest's husband killed.

Most of the old guys in the Old testament were into sex with multiple partners....! Abraham, Issac, david, Solomon, etc. Nothing new there....!
I don't get our obsession with destroying careers because of sexual escapades.
Having said that, I believe that people who betray their families oughta be publicly whipped. Then they can go on being governor, or whatever. But public whipping first.
The state of Delaware still has a whipping post in front of the Statehouse in Dover.

Ditto. He is re-paying the money after he got caught. He claims he did important business for the state while there. Oh, really? Then why is he now paying for the trip? No proof?
In his favor, he did stay in a cheap hotel.
He wanted to use the stimulus money to pay of the state's debt, which would include THIS money.
