It's not the rain. It's what the runoff from the rain brings into the lakes... bacteria from farms and septic systems, and nutrients from lawn fertilizer to help them grow. Then, if the lake warms up, you have bacteria soup.
Yuck, none of that kind of soup for me!
lol soup only fit for quackers! So many things would be different if we lived in an organic world friendly manner.
:) wishing you laughter
Whoops....
Most bodies of water around here are not really safe to get into. I too am happy to have (my mother in laws) pool.
Hope it clears up fast..
Oh yuck.....sounds horrible.....I'm sure glad that none of us likes to go swimming! We don't have to worry about that stuff. We'll stay indoors in the nice cool air conditioning!
Sad to hear the news and it's been so very hot lately around here.
i get infections easy so i stay in alot.
We don't have a pool, but our local waterpark would have to do if that were to happen here.
gross, wish and pray that my hunny get our pool up this next week
oh my
That is bad.
We have only had one day of rain out of 32, seven inches short or average.
Hope it clears soon

I'd love to have a pool, maybe next year. We have a pool for the kids that's what matters. :0) - HH
What sort of disease they may cause?
