I guess $1,000 later, the vet didn't have any answers as to what was wrong. Our cat had bloodwork and urinalysis that was within normal ranges. The x-rays didn't reveal any blockages. We have switched his diet to a stricter hard cat food. The cat did have 3 days of iv fluids, so he appears to be better for awhile. We put a pill in a water solution and syringed it down his throat. This may cancel our planned travel to Highlands for the weekend of the fourth of July.
If it does, it does. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow.
In other news, I was down to 194.4 this morning, a new low for me, and my wife was down to 217, which was a new low for her, but I doubt the weightloss will continue over the weekend. I guess we tend to eat a bit more than is standard on the weekends.

I hope the kitty gets better soon.....and congrats on the weight loss.
Sorry about your cat. Congrats on the weight loss though. I haven't been able to hit the gym as much as I'd like the past 2 weeks.
I hope the cat feel better soon!
sounds like you're doing well with the weight loss, and wishing kitty well too
Thank you for the concern and congratulations expressed.
great job on the diets for you & wife - I need some motivation (and the ice cream picture I saw that you posted was not it!!)... and about the cat - I hope he feels fine and he is a lucky cat to have you and your wife taking care of him!!
