I went walking yesterday, seeing as it would be the last rainless day for at least a week. I took a lot of pictures, but most of them were experiments that didn't work. However, I got these three, which I'm pleased with - another photogenic Snowy Egret down by the Green Bridge on Gooseneck Cove, and two macro shots from different angles of some Indigobush growing by the road. (Don't forget to click on the photos to view the full-size version.)
Also, a quick note - I have a new entry up on Citizen K's Just A Song blog, this one exploring the song "Over the Rainbow", with videos of Judy Garland, Jane Monheit, and my favorite, Eva Cassidy. Check it out when you get a chance.

Beautiful photo essay, Roy. We are featuring it today at Home Comfort
Your photos are always a joy to see...!
Beautiful photos, Roy
I agree--great photos.
I never knew there was something called indigobush. It is really cool.
Beautiful photos, Roy!
Beautiful.
(The version on your blog superimposes one Indigobush picture over the other if I use Firefox. With IE, they're displayed properly.)
Thanks everybody!
Aniko, I use Firefox, too, and I don't have that problem. Maybe if you increase your screen resolution, or use Firefox's zoom function on the page (I had to do that using the library's computers once).
Natalie, thanks for the feature!
The screen resolution fixed it (the zoom function didn't).
It's strange because I've never seen that problem before.
I always enjoy your photos ,Roy. The egret is stunning in full size view . BTW,I use Firefox ,and I had no problems.
'Ayuh, another rainy day. Headed up to the Flying Jib yesterday morn at 5...took pictures along the way so a normal 6 hour drive took 11. But had to stop in Wiscasset, and then Damiscotta, and Cushing to see the real "Christina's World, and Rockland. Didn't stop in Camden...too crowded with tourists. Arrived at Flye Point at 4...took a 30 minute power nap and then visited all my favorite spots. Tide was in so couldn't go out to islands. But it sure feels good being back at Flye.
Great pictures.
