John - one is almost always surprised at the diversity and distribution of wild animal species in the Arizona desert. Needless to say, it was somewhat astonishing to come across 4 well-dressed examples of wildlife not more than 5 minutes off the main road. And grouped together such as they were without artificial poses....one walks away with a slight shake of the rational mind in complete bewilderment!
Delightful poetry inspired by my furry friends. Hope they are having a good summer. They would feel quite at home right now in Spokane where it's been in the high 90's nearly every day. Currently, I'm shivering on the Oregon coast.
