IRON MAN Movie Review

PRELUDE
A true classic action packed, more than a Marvel Super Hero type movie. A believable story of a genius inventor of war products getting captured by the clients he sells his goods.

Robert Downey Jr. plays the CEO of the corporation that creates smart war products and materials. He is the best technological genius of his time. Little does he know that a bounty has been placed on his head and that people closest to him really want him dead. During a friendly visit overseas to one of his customer's off-site locations, he is captured and held for ransom by some of his own clients. This is where the story starts to unfold. ~ That is all I'm going to share about the film as this is a must see and must own movie. ~ Trust me you will not be disappointed at all!

  NOTE: I think Robert Downey Jr. deserves an Oscar for his superb performance in this film.

• Full of action
• A believable storyline (in my opinion)
• I love all of the gadgets, special effects and fight scenes
• I loved how Iron Man's super hero power is channeled (that is something I didn't know as a comic book reader growing up)
• I loved how Iron Man trained himself to develop his power
• I loved how Iron Man's developed the making of his armored suit

• The villain
• The "ladies" man character part of Robert Downey Jr.'s character

Superb photography and cinematography scenes
Very appropriate soundtrack for this work of art
If you like special effects, this film is full of them
Rated PG-13 for some intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and brief suggestive content
I wasn't bored at all during the full 126 minutes this film ran

I don't normally include this information in my reviews but I thought it was significant to show that this film was done in the USA although, they made parts of California look totally like a different country. I found that to be totally remarkable as far as filming and directing is concerned.

This movie reminds me a lot of the TV series "MacGyver," who could use just about anything to get out of tough and dangerous situations.If you like superhero type movies; you will enjoy this film. It has enough sci-fi action, suspense and modern day action to keep alert and cheering all the way through.

Don't just rent this movie, BUY IT, it's a keeper for those rainy days.
