John McCain and his GOP buddies should be the last word on how the current Iran conflict should be addressed. Remember this is the political party whose candidate for the past Presidential election sang the little ditty “Bomb Iran” as his response to how should Iran be handled. The GOP bandwagon reacts first without thinking of the consequences. That is the last thing we need now in these perils times.

All I can say is that if WE (the United States) thinks that Iran is Iraq they'd better think again. There will be dire consequences for all of us Americans should that happen...
lol the GOP is at it again but they are just showing then self to be the same lip service party they have always been.
The GOP firebrands react first and think later.
Are you sure about that? I have seen no evidence that they think later. I can't even recall that they are embarrassed later. In fact... Well, never mind.
Many Non Iranians want to change Iran but they do not want to change themselves : their Racism, their Hatred, their peddling of Fear, their support for Domestic Terrorism, their complacency with Brutality, Cruelty and Sadism.
About the Military Madness in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and perhaps Iran :
Can you win the minds and souls by killing innocent peasants ???, illiterate people in pajamas ?? .... Tribal People in the Middle Ages ??? ... Can you win the War by exterminating the nationals ??
Will they thank the murder and torture of their relatives, of their folksmen, of their neighbors ?? .... Now ??? ..... and in the Future ??
All Wars have a very strong Racist Component, a very strong Racist odor ... There are no clean Wars ... There are no aseptic Wars ... no antiseptic wars .... no sterilized Wars without Racism ..... without the virus and microbes of Racism, Hate, Crime, Murder, Torture, Sadism, Cruelty.....

We should look to the beam in our own eye before helping remove the mote from the eye of someone else.
For a change, they haven't 'done' anything to us. We need to chill our jets and take a 'wait and see' attitude...and keep our noses right out of their business on this one...until something happens that directly involves or affects America. Let their own people handle things the way they feel is best. We may not approve of goings on there, but the call is not ours to make. Pay attention and be ready to act, but steer clear until the situation actually involves 'us'...the U.S.
Since I have not read anyone in this article show any concerns, I guess it is better to sit back and watch the carnage on from the cell phones and say how bad we are or how we might suffer.
Juan, short, sweet and to the point. THE REPUBLICANS SHOULD NOT BE LISTENED TO ON MATTERS OF FOREIGN POLICY. The Neo Conservative WORLD DOMINATION Influence remains strong in the GOP. That position is reflected in their whining about President Obama's moderate and measured response to the Iranian Election outcome and tha riots in its aftermath. WE SHOULD BE SHOUTING THESE IMBICILES DOWN AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY.
If you are right in your position you don't have to shout down the opposition you can convince the onlookers with factual debate. Shouting down and silencing opposition is fascist totalitarianism and has no place on American soil.
Jim G,
So besides the rehtoric whats changed in our foreign policy? Absolutely nothing!
