Hello pussycat of the bright eyes
Of massaging front paws tapping
Out a rhythm of your heart
With throaty rumblings akin
To a motor boat
You curl around me with contented sighs
Flicking your tail hither and yon
Mewling softly
Your approval of my finally
Being home.
