After having considered it for a while, I finally decided to take the plunge. That's right, like all the little birds, I'm going "tweet, tweet, tweet." Unlike the little birds, my tweeting involves Twitter.
Why did I decide to go the Twitter route? One reason is that I decided that it might prove useful in directing more people to my writing. Another reason would, of course, be that there are a number of things such as SwagBucks that are on Twitter.
So, like many people before me, I decided to build my little nest and start tweeting.

Heather,
Gather Moms is also on Twitter. I hope you will follow if you aren't already. The Tweets aren't restricted to just those oriented towards mom.
I just added that to the things I'm following.
I'm already there. Why don't you gather email me your user email so I can follow you.
Just sent you an email.
I'm on twitter too, I just joined a couple of days ago.
Cool.
Not I
Hmmm, it's just not for me.
I had thought that was the case for me for the longest time, but I ended up deciding that I do have use for it.
I just joined yesterday and made my first "tweets" today, LOL.
I was wondering what it was all about since the news media have been using it to report on Iran etc. I got my interest up....
It seems like so many things are going on there that having a presence on there is a good idea.
I joined about a week ago. How do you like it so far? Look me there some time :-)
I like it.
I just started following you. :-)
Yep, and me following you :-) I just wrote on Facebook (to a friend) that I hadn't decided if I am going to stay with Twitter. But then a long time/long lost friend found me. It wouldn't be right of me to stop now. *grin*
It does have its uses, and it is kind of fun.
I actually am spending a lot more time on Twitter than I ever have with Facebook, which I'm only a member to keep in touch with a certain circle. I did have to pop into Facebook, though, to touch bases with people.
have fun
I'm hoping to; I also hope that it will be beneficial beyond the entertainment value. Only time will tell.
I'm still wondering about Twitter. I did sign up to follow the local newspaper on Twitter. I didn't realize that by signing up for this, I was actually creating a presence...sort of like my own page. So, suddenly I have dozens of people signing up to follow me...me? I don't do anything exciting enough to give 44-character (or whatever the space is) updates. Let me know about your experience.
So far, I've only tweeted once. That was to get out word about one of my articles (http://www.redgage.com/links/wilsongoddard/birdwatching:-telepathic-birds-and-other-adventures.htmlz) being featured at RedGage.
I have something of a plan for how to use it. If I weren't thinking in terms of promotion and such, I really wouldn't know what to do with it.
not me. have fun
Cats don't tweet? I know some who would like to try, just to lure in birds. :-)
Ah, well. I'll see the Sassy Cat on Gather, which I have no intention of leaving anytime soon. I like this site too well just to abandon it. I do want to try to drive some outside traffic to my stuff, though.
