Leading light

As long as I was strolling in strips of darkness
no light seems to come ,nearer to my eyes
I am rather perplexed and disappointed
but lived with a sheer hope of a needed turn

Suddenly ,a flash appeared sharp in the sky
I saw some unknown identity guiding my steps
and after a careful introspection
I came to know that you are the leading light

Hand in hand
we traversed now, longer miles
and are sure of reaching destiny in a few hours
before you as a friend, may vanish into oblivion

Let me whole heartedly say THANK YOU my lord!
again and again as a matter of ultimate gain
