Arthur Raniey, a black man from Virgina made corn whiskey. Sold it in big wooden boxes 'til they swelled up. He would put rag's in the wooden box to where they compartmented and wouldn't leak out. Otherwise you would lose it all.
Arthur was quite a guy. We sold it on the bread route "Bond Bread Company". We weren't fussy, as long as we got it sold. It was easy to sale corn liquor, all of the black's loved it in "Petersburg". A black man couldn't just get it any where, we made sure they did. He introduced me to your Mother. I still love the guy though..
That was the legit part of it. Arthur and I were good buddy's. We loved each other, and lived it as we lived it.
Arthur Raniey was my CindyB. Godfather. =)

Got any of that corn whiskey left? You could bring it to the family reunion this weekend.
If a dead man could still make whiskey, I would bring it! =)
