Wedding Photo Essay

One of our friend's daughters got married the other day.  Does that mean we are getting old?  We went to the wedding and had a wonderful time.  I managed to snap a few pictures at the wedding. 

My husband has been friends with the father of the bride since middle school, and I have been friends with him since I met my husband 24 years ago.  We were also friends with his wife when they were married, but they were divorced over 10 years ago.  So we got to see her again at the wedding which was nice.  It was like we never lost touch.  We had a good time joking around with her.

The had appetizers floating around for an hour before the food came.  They had sausage, pizza, crustini, and mozzerellas sticks, we were all starving and ate more of that than we probably should have.  Dinner was family style, chicken, pasta, beef, mashed potatoes and green beans, there was also soup and salad, along with the appetizers and the cake we ate literally for 2 hours straight.

After dinner was dancing, my husband who usually dances did not want to dance because his feet hurt, I got up and danced with some ladies for a couple of songs, usually we dance all night I was kind of bummed.  Our friend's other daughter, and a little girl from the wedding party were very entertaining though so we had fun watching them. 

All in all we had a really nice time.  Our kids spent the night at one of our other friends house so we had the house all to ourselves when we got home, which was nice.
