International Bailout Brings Us Closer to Economic Collapse
"Last week Congress passed the war supplemental appropriations bill. In an affront to all those who thought they voted for a peace candidate, the current president will be sending another $106 billion we don't have to continue the bloodshed in Afghanistan and Iraq, without a hint of a plan to bring our troops home.
Many of my colleagues who voted with me as I opposed every war supplemental request under the previous administration seem to have changed their tune. I maintain that a vote to fund the war is a vote in favor of the war. Congress exercises its constitutional prerogatives through the power of the purse, and as long as Congress continues to enable these dangerous interventions abroad, there is no end in sight, that is until we face total economic collapse..."

I dont want to sound like a nut but it is almost as if the Obama wants to break the dollar so he can force us into socialism.... I dont get it. Our children will be paying off the bailout for eons...now this???
He does. I don't know about socialism but it will be a different government in a short few years (maybe next year). We will be spending AMEROS if they don't change the name and we will have a EU type of agreement with Mexico and Canada.

Right on Col. but people still deny this is happening, under the radar, like everything else. Just read where they may eliminate all "money"; every transaction, buy-sell-trade, will be on a card. Then, next, if you want control of your funds, once they get it all in their system, you will be required to get the "chip" inserted in your arm.
All your health records, finances, your will, and ALL your business will be recorded and managed through the "chip". If you are a bad boy or girl, thew will shut "off" your "chip". You won't be able to buy groceries or have access to your finances or any healthcare.

The war in Iraq was in the planning stages by the neocons before George Bush was even elected. It was entirely a war of choice, an off the budget exercise in billion dollar no bid contracts in return for what?

Well said Ali, and before Bush was elected our national debt was half of what it now is. Bush and the Republican Congress accumulated more debt than all previous administrations combined. And, I've yet to hear a Republican calling Reagan's pullout of Lebanon "cut and run." Why is that?

Bush took 8 years to run us into unimmanageable debt. It has taken Obama less than 6 months to double it.
