The season finale for "Grey's Anatomy" wasn't totally unexpected, although the 007 bit was a shocker. George has always been my favorite Grey's character and I was really sorry to see him go. Since he became vocal in his complaints about the show, his air time was cut immensely, which couldn't have made him any happier. It certainly didn't make me any happier.
I became a Katherine Heigl fan during her time on "Roswell." I was really sorry to hear she was leaving. My son and I had this big conversation about why shows think the only way someone can leave is through death. Most of the people who aren't in my life any more just moved away. Surely doctors move, too.
I don't bother much with celebrity gossip or news about TV shows and movies. I have a son who keeps up with the TV shows and loves to tell me all about it. Today he told me that Katherine Heigl is going to be back. I'm happy about that.
But I'm still going to miss George.

WOW, that is some news. I was certainly pulling for her. Maybe she'll end up being chief of the Seattle Hospital Show? Hmmm or even start her own practice, like Addison did with Private Practice. LoL. I love the show regardless, I do hope the manage to get some folks on there that can keep up with the more popular characters like George and Izzy, much like "ER" did for a number of seasons, before they finally cancelled it.
What I read was she got out of the show. I don't think she's coming back. Also, the show trying to keep George I heard.
hmmm, either one could still come back or be gone. I liked both of these characters too, but Izzy was getting a bit nuts with the whole manipulation thing during her cancer treatments. But, I'm a fan, in spite of my husband's dislike of it! He thinks it's stupid because he's a med. asst. and thinks it's hokey that they use the cheapy stethoscopes instead of a "real" one like a doctor would! LOL I told him it's a PROP and why should they spend more on a prop that most people a) wont notice or b) wont' care about! lol
i liked the broad in 27 dresses and knocked up, but im not a grey's fan
I didn't know what 007 meant because I didn't start watching Grey's Anatomy from the beginning. I did not expect John Doe to be George. I hope this isn't a ploy from Shonda Rhimes. I would hate for them to say Izzie was coming back, and Katherine Heigl to say she wanted to come back, only for them to have Izzie die. It seems they plant 'leaks' to throw people off base. I don't want Alex and Izzie to end like that.
Can you believe how far Katherine Heigl has come since Roswell? You remember the guy who played her husband on the show? He's Eric Delko on CSI: Miami now.
