Pat and I just returned to town, filled up on Chinese food, and plan to take it easy. But we had a great time at the Haunted American Ghost Conference in Decatur. I got a few interviews, caught all the presentations, Pat and I had dinner at Jimmie Johns sandwich shop yesterday evening with Leslie Rule, writer of two books on ghosts and daughter of true crime writer of Ann Rule (it was Leslie who told her mother that she recognized the guy later convicted of being the Green River Killer from one of Ann's lectures and, during her presentation yesterday morning, she described how she was introduced to her mom's friend, Ted Bundy, later arrested and ultimately convicted of being a serial killer). Leslie also talked about haunted sites around the country, there was a presentation by Nick Redfern on chupacabras of Puerto Rico, Craig Telesa with an outstanding discussion on high-tech ghost hunting, some startling video showing the face of a ghost appearing in a window and another peeking down the stairway from around a corner and more. Picked up a few books, two T-shirts as well as a conference T-shirt (black, of course, with white lettering), ate too much, Pat won two mounted souvenirs: a rock from the Gatewy to Hell in the cemetery of Stull, Kansas, where the devil traditionally appears in person twice a year and a rock from the Bell witch cave, had a fine time.
I will write a detailed story tomorrow on the ghost conference.

Glad you had a good time. I am taken by psychics, spirits, ghosts and the paranormal.
Wow, sounds scary and fun at the same time. I shall check on you tomorrow and read your report. I know it shall be interesting.
Chupacabras! I read an article not too long ago suggesting that they were left here by an alien spacecraft for experimental purposes on this (our) planet and they have mutated somewhat since they were left. Can hardly wait to read what was said about them at the conference. Ghosts can just go live somewhere else, but not in my house.
Wow!! Nick you had some interesting experiences on your trip! Glad you had a great time!
