On season 1 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey nothing but animosity was surrounded Danielle. Noone liked her but Jacqueline, and although Teresa tolerated her she didn't care for her too much. Apparently there were rumors spreaded and a book was written about Danielle's past with her ex husband-who was a cop. Danielle confirmed some of the rumors to be true but not all. She may not have picked the right time to discuss the book, but I'm glad she did speak up for herself. As a result to her interrupting Teresa's dinner party, Teresa went off like a raging bull, calling Danielle a prostitute-whore and flipping over the dinner table.
The problem is anything in Danielle's past should stay in the past. We all have done things in our past that we are not proud of. Everybody deserves a second chance. Caroline and family didn't even take the time to get to know Danielle. They never liked her in the first place. If you ask me they just used the book as an excuse. I applaud Caroline for defending her sister Dina but sometimes-family need to let their siblings fight their own battles!
