For Father's Day, I am posting two vintage postcards with images related to fatherhood.
Neither of the postcards was mailed, so there are no "personalities" attached to them.
The first postcard bears the legend, "Oh, It's Nice To Be A Father".
The second postcard is titled, "Everybody Works But Father"
Here is the postcard, "Oh, It's Nice To Be A Father"

The father is well-dressed, and sitting before a fire that is blazing. He holds two infants.
I think that Dad looks resigned and weary, rather than proud and doting.

Every parent has those resigned and weary moments, believe me, even those that dote on their children.

Oh, I am sure of that, Stephanie.
I like this, Mr. Wimsey. Sorry I missed it on Father's Day.
I am glad that you enjoyed it, Martin.
This is so meat thanks for sharing Peter
You are quite welcome, Debra.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
I adore such old images !!!
I posted another one, Peter.
What a neat image! I love his expression.
He appears very content, Sheila.
It looks like this guy is wearing a bad toupe!
There is something very strange about his hair.
