I jump around on the internet ALOT. The past 2 days have been terrible when I'm on Gather. Very slow moving page to page. Pictures not coming up. Sometimes half of a page comes up. My comments don't appear on a page right away.
There doesn't seem to be problems with other websites I visit. I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with the site (not relating to the drama & points changes; I have those issues, too...lol). Is there anything I can do to make the issues go away?!!?? Or is this something Gather needs to work out itself?
Just wondering.

Well I have been trying to post once again an article and I get an error. I even downloaded firefox.Yet nothing, I beginning to think Gather is doing gitches on purpose.
i do kinda wonder. i mean it's almost 1 am on a saturday & the site is running slow. i don't get it. i'm techno-challenged!! :)
I just know this is crazy I posted to articles today yet tonight comes along I have an error. Same error I had when I went to help desk.

I have been having a lot of trouble with Gather lately too. Often pages or comment boxes won't load, or if I make a comment, it won't go anywhere. I also get error messages.
I don't know about you Janet but it upsets me . The first say comments cut points then I can't even post an article for points.

Had trouble yesterday trying to go from one post to another. It just wouldn't move. I jumped off and back on again and the issue was still there. I even tried to refresh, to no advail. I tried a couple of more times and finally it worked. I had trouble trying to post to, but again persistence paid off.
It's crazy you have to keep trying.
Yeah Renee I know. Spending all that frustrating time, which cuts points even more, if your time is being taken from you having to piddle around, trying to do anything.

Yeah" Its Happening to Me Too and Driving Me Crazy !! Tryed to download a video and it was Dropped @ 100% !! Then just got Stuck on someone's Profile while visiting them..........Now What Gather ??? !!

I have been slow too, but I think it is my computer, hell, everything is slow lately, including points!
Been seeing others commenting on problems here. I haven't been on much to notice lately.
i've been trying to view new posts at dream depths today & the pages won't come up unless i hit them 3x. i guess i won't waste my time & i guess they will lose some views. oh well. :)
I have problems with pages loading and comments showing too. Maybe Gather is just being slow today because it's sunday. =)
this has been since thursday that i've noticed it. i did a defrag on my computer. checked for other stuff, but gather still runs funny. i don't have that problem with mylot or craigslist or any other well populated sites. :)

thanks, trish. it's just getting frustrating when i'm trying to comment on things & the comments get hung up. hopefully it's still going through as a view & a rating for those taking the time to publish something. :)
