Friday Night I hosted a Girls Night Out for a group of teens of various ages from 14-19. The theme was "Bride Wars"
The girls did not know what to expect until they arrived. Even then I did not tell them what was going to happen until it was time to do it. :)
I served pizza followed by the movie Bride Wars.
We then did a questioner that I had printed up earlier.
I had some gifts to give out. It was so fun to watch them. They all sat in the floor circled around the gifts. I called out numbers and my SIL said "Go". They were only allowed to grab on gift when she said Go and they never knew what number it was going to be yelled at. LOL
Following this we had homemade Banana Splits.
Before they arrived I had pulled out a bridal dress, several formal dresses and some regular skirts and tops for a fashion show. I wanted to share some of the photos with you. They were all beautiful young ladies.

What a fun evening! I love the movie, it was so cute :)
I turned out all the lights and lit some candles. We threw one of the futon mattress on the floor and everyone just got comfortable. We had the surround system booming. I had ear plugs in but don't tell them. LOL
How come I didn't get invited? I like pizza and banana splits...and gifts, too...but I AIN'T dressing up like a girlie. I could have modelled the groom's wear.
Rob,
I bet you would have been a lot of fun and a real asset to the party. I am sorry that I did not think to invite you. :)
Cute photo essay!
Now about those nanner splits?
I chopped a whole cup of walnuts. cleaned fresh fruit and then had pinapple, hot fudge, milkey way, strawberry topping and carmel. I had some mint chocolate chips and some butterscotch chocolate chips too. I put everything out on the counter and let them fix their own the way they wanted them. :)
OMG.
That looks like a lot of fun.I loved watching this movie
My husband and I had viewed the movie previously but we did not really like it. Friday, we could not find that movie anywhere! My husband had to run up to Rite Aid and buy a new on for the party. LOL So I gave it away as one of the gifts.
Looks like a lot of fun.
They had a blast. They did not leave my home until 2 Am. Nikki had to be at work at 9AM
Looks and sounds like a ton of fun! :)
Lune,
I just love teenagers. I miss having them around. Girls night out with them are alot of fun.
Next time, you should raise the age limit of guests and I'll drive up to West Virginia for it!
Amanda,
Let me know when you will be here and we will have one just for you. LOL
I am planning a couples night now for the adults.
The teens want a game night next.
I'm with Shan. I want a banana split! I've been thinking about splits for about two weeks now.
Looks like you guys had fun.
Victoria,
We had a blast. Ricky said the Pam and the girls did not quit talking about it.
Looks like everyone is having a ton of fun. Great pictures.
Ang,
This is the second one we have had in the last couple months. The last one was set around the movie "Mama Mia"
Looks like they had fun!
It does look like fun. That's the kind of good clean fun the girls are lucky to have. I wish I had such get togethers when I was a teenager.
Teresa,
In our area there is nothing for the youth to do. I love the teens and I just want to bring them closer together and help them to understand that life can be fun and exciting without getting into trouble.
Cute idea for a party. I saw this movie on ON Demand when itr came out. Was funny.
Oh what a fun time the girls all had. I bet they will always remember this Connie...and they are all beautiful girls.
As for the movie, I rented it for me and Ang to watch. She liked it okay, but I hated it. It was so stupid. I just don't care for chick flicks.
Jax,
All the teens loved it but Roger and I did not like it either. We had viewed it before we showed it to the girls.
The girls just loved the Girls Night Out. To be honest.... I loved it too. I miss having teens around. :)
Such fun.
