The St. Louis Post Dispatch just ran an article about Windows on Iran, Explorations of Persian culture and politics, a very interesting newsletter published by Fatemeh Keshavarz, an Iranian professor at Washington University.
I originally learned about Professor Keshavarz at one of my Middle East classes at LLI. She is also the author of Jasmine and Stars: Reading More Than Lolita in Tehran.
The newsletter is blogged at http://windowsoniran.wordpress.com/.

interesting...I used to read a student group's blog a few years ago on Iran. Most were either arrested or fled to the West via Iraq but the stuff they put out was enlightening about Iran
Thanks for the post, adn the link.
One thing I learned that I had missed hearing an explanation for from the various media. "Mousavi's campaign color was green".
I kept seeing the demonstrators with green banners, ribbons, signs etc. and just didn't know what that stood for! Thanks for enlightening me .
Thanks for the information. hmmmm.
I'm just letting you know that I have linked my article, The Iranian Time Bomb - Dispatch by Michael Yon, to your article, to encourage readership on in this topic.
