clm 180˚ --- THE NOW - SO TYPICAL GATHER POSERS

If seeing is believing it is so much more so here in Gather.com. - especially at this time as the points & rating system is being alterated.

As an advent Gather browser, reader, & communicator (whose membership does hold proof that I really enjoy Gather.com)  the day has arisen that I can not be still about about the variety of scamming & belligerent users posing as members here within Gather.

No longer can tolerance be stretched to being amiable & pleasant.  No longer can the surf by without commenting be accepted, especially now with some of the posting that Gather is gathering that are blatantly full of stupidity & media mediocracy.

Putting aside all the word games, the hellos & good nites, the endless quotes & recipes - which are basically mild & unobtrusive - Gather is now producing a plethora of idiotic nonsence that leaves much to be desired.

Gather is quickly leaving the door ablaze for all attention grabbing, desensitizing, brainless, pathetic headliners - a flourishing source from the depleted & erroneous derivative deviants that our society is generating in mass production.

I made the unthinkable mistake of commenting on one posting that I found totally disgusting & disarming at the same time.  Without names being used, a comment was fired back at me with the same nasty attitude that prevailed within the sordid posting to begin with.  Yes, I could have once again surfed on by --- but where do we draw the line?  I did draw a line & will continue to more than likely.

So perhaps this is just what Gather really needs .... some who dare to say what has to be said to these types of postings & members - instead of just blithfely skipping along the Gather path into oblivion.
