So I found this awesome fabric online that inspired me to make a blanket for myself. I chose a tattoo patterned cotton fabric with a black background, and then I chose a small leopard print to contrast.
The blanket is edged in 'tattoo red' and as an added touch, I chose some vintage buttons to tack the two fabrics together, in shades of red and green.
I love the finished product and cannot wait to finish the pillows I'm making with the extra leopard print!

It will either be an awesome bed spread, or a rockin' couch blanket/pillow set! I almost can't believe I made it, its so perfect and exactly like I wanted :o) Please share your thoughts and opinions, and thanks in advance for stopping by!

I'm not a big fan of the colors green and red - not sure why - but I do love the pattern. If only it were purple!! :)
It comes with a tan/beige background also. If you search 'tattoo fabric' you'll find lots of fun stuff! ;)
I'll check your pics out.
Thanks Elaine!
