Nearly all of MSM has been swooning over the Obama presidency, and President Obama whines about Fox News Channel;
"I’ve got one television station that is entirely devoted to attacking my administration…. That’s a pretty big megaphone. You’d be hard pressed if you watched the entire day to find a positive story about me on that front.
— Barack Obama, interview with CNBC’s John Harwood"
Want some Cheese with that Whine Mr. President?
BTW,
"WASHINGTON — The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the flyswatter in chief to try taking a more humane attitude the next time he's bedeviled by a fly in the White House.
PETA is sending President Barack Obama a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside."
I'm sure we can expect an apology soon.

LOL.
I know who I'd like to swat with that fly swatter, and it's not a fly!
President Obama, and by extension his entire administration has taken presidential politics to an extreme new low in their relations with those who dare to be real journalists and not his ministers of propaganda. Specific personalities are mentioned by name in press briefings for personal condemnations. This comes from a president who uses a teleprompter wherever he goes (there are two ways to look at this but the polite way is to suggest that he wants a tight control of the message he sends) to "press sessions" in which the reporters are selected in advance and whose questions must be given in advance, allowing for the controlled appearance of spontaneity and openness.
To add insult to injury there are many in the MSM who will do anything to become a part o the administration's blessed ministers of propaganda. ABC is the most recent to fall under this spell, devoting a complete infomercial on the president's cure all for health care right in the White House itself, along with a carefully orchestrated pre selected and pre determined "question and answer" session.
"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it." Edward R. Murrow
I am sure you were equally critical and suspicious of the previous 8 yrs when 'invitation only'' and 'hand selected' audiences were the norm and Faux was the ONE carrying the GOP water! Perhaps you could give us a cite to some of the FAIR and Balanced articles Fox has produced.
PS
Ed Murrow is rolling in his grave at the total audacity of you using his quote to compare feigned 'dissent' with blatent 'dishonesty'!
Wait a minute ... do you mean Dubya actually had press conferences? I must have missed them. I thought George was the one who didn't have any press conferences.
Actually, I think there are reports out there that the network with the best and fairest coverage of Hillary in 2008 was Fox News. On the whole Fox seems pretty much fair enough to me; then again what do I know I listen to NPR and I think that's pretty fair enough as well in the other direction.
P.S. I'm pretty much convinced that Mr. Murrow would have distain for all television news networks these days (In the US) and perhaps might give a passing grade only to NPR.
Ha ha, probably any media outlets that make a politician nervous is the one to watch; or at least doing it's job?
"Want some Cheese with that Whine Mr. President?"
And yet, the incessant whining by the Republicans, including the author, is somehow overlooked. For example, from this article and comments alone:
"Nearly all of MSM has been swooning over the Obama presidency" [Cue the "it's the MSM loves Obama" talking point]
"I'm sure we can expect an apology soon." (quoting FNC) [Cue the "sarcasm coming from the Fox News Channel that spent three days "examining" the whole "flygate" incident" and who for some reason Obama thinks might be "is entirely devoted to attacking my administration." Go figure.]
"with those who dare to be real journalists and not his ministers of propaganda." [Cue the "MSM is in the tank for Obama" whine again]
"This comes from a president who uses a teleprompter wherever he goe" [Cue the whining about something incredibly inconsequential.]
"in which the reporters are selected in advance and whose questions must be given in advance, allowing for the controlled appearance of spontaneity and openness." [Cue the whining that somehow the real journalists are not getting all the facts (which somehow conveniently forgets all the staged events of the former president where no one was allowed in unless they had the right party ID)]
""We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it." Edward R. Murrow" [Forgetting how the MSM was "in the tank" for the previous administration's call for going to war in Iraq, and that only later did they rebel against the administration after it was learned that they had lied about virtually any premise for the invasion.]
I'm sure none of this will be seen as whining, after all, it's only whining when the other guy does it, right?
""I'm sure we can expect an apology soon." (quoting FNC)"
My words not FNCs
Whining about people whining about Obama whining..It's such a vicious circle. LOL!
Thanks for posting David!
